"Please let me go." Not until she died did she figure out how miserable she had lost in this love.👇👇👇👇

How desperate was it to be hated by the man you've had a crush on for ten years? Grace James was going through this monstrous injustice. That the man, Caden Shaw, who Grace loved most, wronged her for the death of Wallis Venus, who was her best friend and the woman Caden loved most.

Grace has waited for a day at the gate of Shaw's mansion. It was the winter in the south and rained heavily all day. Only wearing feeble clothes, she was drenched from head to toe, feeling too freezing to sense anything. Finally she saw Caden.

Caden's car slowly drove in. Grace rushed after it, slapping the back window and through the window, she shouted loudly, "It's not me. Please believe me. Caden! Listen to me!"

The car pulled over at last. The window slowly fell, an expressionless but charming face appeared. The man was quite handsome with an angular face, a Roman nose and enchanting eyes. He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, sitting there like an king, apathetic to soaked Grace.

The pouring rain, as if a huge curtain, separated Grace outside the car from Caden inside.

This was a precious chance for Grace to see Caden. She struggled to explain through the car door, "Caden, it was not me who hired those bandits to hurt Wallis! Please listen to me."

Caden sneered and chimed in, "Grace, do you like me so much? You like me so much that you don't hesitate to kill Wallis?"

"I'm not intended to hurt Wallis."Grace was trying to justify for herself but got interrupted by him each time.

"Right, you didn't kill Wallis on purpose. You just bribed some bandits and killed her by the hands of others."His voice was even colder than the rain in winter.

"Caden! Listen to me! I really..."

Grace burst out in hysteria but was interrupted by Caden the third time.

Caden turned his head and looked at drenched Grace, saying, "Fine, I will listen to your explanation only on the condition that you kneel in front of my house the whole night. If I feel better, I'd like to give you ten minutes."

Later, the car window rising, Caden's car drove into his mansion and the gate was shut ruthlessly right in front of Grace.

In the heavy rain, Grace's face was pale. She stood for a while, then suddenly raised her head and walked to the gate of the Manor. She pressed her lips tightly and knelt down to the cold hard ground with a "bang".

Grace straightened her back, raised her head, and knelt at the door unyielding. She knelt down stubbornly, just for a chance to explain clearly. She hadn't done it. She didn't admit the things what she hadn't done!

One night passed. In the downpour, Grace still knelt down outside the Shaw manor.

With the gate open came a man holding an umbrella. It was not Caden but Caden's housekeeper, who was also Wallis's father. He said to Grace, "Miss Grace, Mr. Caden asks you to leave here."

Grace's voice was hoarse but adamant, "I need to see him"

The housekeeper delivered Caden's words word for word, "Mr. Caden said that Miss Grace's existence has polluted the environment of the manor. He didn't want to see Miss Grace anymore."

Though those words were heartbreaking, she insisted on telling the truth, "Sir, I really didn't bribe bandit to kill Wallis. I don't know why I'm wronged. I'm innocent!"

The housekeeper looked at Grace with aversion and rebuked, "Wallis is my daughter. She has always been well-behaved and agreeable. Mr.Caden has crushed on Wallis all the time. And everyone knows that Miss.Grace has crazy crush on Mr.Caden but he dislikes you. It is because you are jealous of Wallis and fail to be loved by Mr.Caden that you plotted to kill Wallis. You are such a malicious woman! Please leave here, Miss Grace! And here are the last words Mr. Caden wants you to know."

"Mr.Caden said, how come the one who died wasn't you?" The housekeeper said this word for word and turned to walk into the manor.

The last words just as the last piece of snowflake before a big avalanche crushed her completely. Grace who knelt on the ground couldn't help shaking. A sharp pain came from her heart. She fell to the cold ground, the rain washing away her tears.

Grace gave a smile that was even more ugly than crying,"Wallis, I would never have my innocence back because of your death."

Grace was unable to see Caden. She originally intended to go home but to her surprise, but to her surprise, her parents forced her out of the house due to Caden's coercion. Not only that Caden used his connections to her college and high school diploma. Now she only had a middle school degree.

How could Caden be so ruthless. He intended to take everything from her.

Not until Grace saw two policemen coming for her did she realized that Caden wasn't intended to have her lose everything but wanted her to die.

One of the policemen said, "Miss Grace, your charge has been testified. Please come with us."

All her grievances were regarded as excuses and all that awaited her was prison.

Three years later.

Grace was finally out of prison. She has completely changed to another person who was skinny to bone with pale skin and an ugly scar on her forehead, looked like a centipede. She knew that her three years of suffering was because of Caden. It was him who asked those people to torture her.

Three years had changed a lot, her background, excellent diploma, stunning appearance were all gone and her voice went hoarse. Now she was a homeless vagrant with a criminal record.

One would utterly transform if tortured in the jail for a long time, no matter how proud that person once was.

Grace was no longer as proud as before. In order to survive, she compromised to endure and put aside her pride. In order to live, she found a job as a janitor at Royal Club.

Before long, Grace has been working there for three months.

The night dropped. Grace just finished her arduous work, resting in a cubicle. Suddenly, the door was open from the outside and a waitress said to Grace in a commanding tone, "Grace, clean up VIP room 606."

Grace froze for a second, this room wasn't her working area. Obviously, the waitress was bullying her and purposely made her do it.

Everyone working at Royal Club knew that Grace was a coward. They could take it out on her when in bad mood. And those demanding jobs could be pushed to her.

Grace just replied with "Ok."and followed the waitress. Upon stepping into the elevator, Grace was pushed out of it by the waitress.

The waitress glanced at Grace with disgust, "You dirty cleaner, you only deserve to take the stairs." It was obvious that the waitress was deliberately making things difficult for Grace. Anyone else would have quarreled with her, but not Grace.

Grace lowered her head and turned to climb stairs.

Room 606. Grace knocked on the door and walked in. As soon as she entered, she noticed an unusually eerie atmosphere in the private room.

In the dim light, a group of people sat on the sofa, one of the waitress Grace knew, was her roommate Ruby. Ruby, full of tears, sat among a group of people. Given to this situation, Grace figured that Ruby may have offended the guests in the private room.

"Grace..."Ruby called out to her with a crying voice, Grace was startled and her whole body tensed up for a moment.

About seven or eight people suddenly looked at her, Grace had no other choice but to say, "I'm the cleaner."

Later, Grace heard one of the guys say to Ruby, "Sing for us, otherwise, you are not allowed to leave."

Grace was right. Rudy did offend the guests. Ruby was a college student here, unsophisticated. She worked as a waitress at Royal Club. How could she bear this kind of insult.

Ruby said stubbornly in a sobbing tone, "I'm not a singer. I won't sing."

The man laughed, saying, "As long as you work there, be it a waitress or a cleaner, you do whatever you are told to!"Then he turned to Grace, said, "You cleaner, don't you think so?"

Grace nodded begrudgingly.

The man pleased at Grace's obedience and said to Ruby, "See? Even a cleaner is smarter than you. Sing, or I call your manager."

Speaking of the manager, Ruby got scared. Her family was strapped for money so that she came to Royal Club to be a waitress. If that man called the manager, she would have lost her job.

"No, please don't call my manager!"Ruby grabbed the microphone, poised to sing, "I'll sing."Before she started, her tears came down.

"Wait a minute." Suddenly, a low voice in the darkness sounded calmly.

Grace stood at the dark corner. When she heard this voice, her body can't help shaking with horror filling in her eye and her breath getting heavier.

"Turn around."In the darkness, a voice ordered.

When Grace heard the voice, her legs felt like they were filled with lead and she couldn't move. She was too familiar with the voice. It was Caden!

With dim light, the man had been hidden in a dark corner, she did not look closely when she came in. No wonder she did not notice.

"I say it again, turn around, you janitor." The voice urged again.

Grace's eyes were full of fear, she wanted to escape.

Three years of imprisonment, 1095 days and nights, she had lived in great suffering. Once getting out from the dungeon, she didn't dare to have any thought about Caden. What left was the unforgettable fear of this man.

"Raise your head."The voice slowly ordered.

Caden was like an king, sitting gracefully in the corner of the sofa. His thin and long arm propped on the sofa's armrest and his back of his hand supported his chin as an gentleman. However, his eyes with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses stared at her like a starving wolf, ready to tear her apart at any time.

Three-year-time didn't leave any trail on his face but shine him even more.

Caden sneered, smiling coldly, and said in a dangerous voice. He said, "Long time no see. What? Don't you want to say hi?" If he hadn't seen her today at the Royal Club Department, he would have almost forgotten about her.

She had changed a lot, she was thin and ugly, and her voice had become raspy and unpleasant. If Ruby hadn't called out "Grace", he wouldn't have recognized her.

Grace was as pale as a wall, gently replied, "Mr. Caden."

"When did you get out of there?"Caden asked indifferently.

Grace seemed anxious, her face pale as a ghost.

Suddenly, Caden sneered at Grace, saying, "Drink it, and I'll let you two go." He pointed to a bottle of drink filled with ice cubes.

Grace looked at the bottle on the table and gently touched her left abdomen where it was empty with one organ less than normal. Her painful memories of prison immediately came to her mind, the corners of her eyes became moist. If she drank that bottle of ice drink, she might die.

She clenched her fist and said obediently, "Sir, please, let us go. I would do anything except drinking that."

"Then, if you smash the bottle by your head, I'll let you go!" The man's voice rang out again like a devil's whisper.
