I run to her but suddenly halt in my tracks when I see who it really is that came to my rescue. The most stunning, most powerful creature of our pack, the Angel Prince himself. His massive wings makes him look both caring and lethal.
May 20
"Did you just step on my dress? You dirty pig! I told you to keep your feet back!" My sister screams at me.
"Sorry...My Lady! It won't happen again." I apologize, she snorts before going back to admiring herself in the full length mirror.
I am supposed to hold the tail of her dress as the maids help her try it on. Her name is Irene and she is the future Queen of our pack, the one and only mate of the Angel Prince.
Pack Angels are rare, they are powerful, stunning, bold and all other good virtues you can name. In simple, they are supposed to be perfection. Our pack was lucky to have one, the King's son. He is the fantasy of every girl but the truth is he can only be mated to one special girl, another angel.
My grandmother, the pack's prophetess, foresaw that the girl would be my sister, her favourite grandchild. Since then Irene has been treated like a princess herself despite the fact that she is yet to reach nineteen and get her wings.
She is now only two weeks away from her nineteenth birthday. After that I will be allowed to go back to living my life, because for the last four years, I have done nothing else apart from serving her. Yes, my own sister demanded that I become her servant, the Pack and my family grants her every wish. She is a future angel and Queen after all.
The Prince agrees to all her requests. She is his only mate and the only one that can bear him children, because angels don't mate with wolves and no children can be born out of such an affair.
Sometimes I doubt she really is going to turn into an angel, angels are supposed to be kind, generous, she is only that when the Prince is around. But she loathes me so much that she once insults me even in his presence.
The day she turned eighteen, I took her dinner to her room late, my mind was in a haze due to the too much work I was forced to do during her birthday party. I opened the door without knocking, she was startled and growled at me. Angels don't growl, because they have no wolves.
For a moment, she panicked, then became furious and smacked the plates of food on my face. She later told the Prince that I was invading her privacy, I got locked in the pack's dark cells for five days.
Being her servant has been , but it's just two weeks of torturous work and it will be over. I am saying torturous work because Irene had the audacity to ask for two weeks long celebrations ahead of her nineteeth birthday. That will cost the pack a fortune but as usual, her wish was granted. Whenever there are celebrations, work literary multiplies.
The celebrations starts today, all pack members are invited. My sister will be the central figure, that means she needs to look perfect. I spent three hours decorating her beautiful dress with golden and silver beads, then fifteen minutes polishing every pair of shoes that she may choose to wear with the dress. Now I am holding the long tail of the dress from touching the floor while the maids styles her hair.
Door opens and in walks Joan and Philly, my sister's best friends. Just like Irene, the two despise me. Since they are friends to her, I can't afford to disrespect them, people say everything about her is perfect, so no matter what I think of Joan and Philly, I must act like I believe they are good.
"You already look angelic! I would trade my life to be you." Joan praises as the two rush to hug their friend and future queen.
"Slow down...you're going to mess my make up!" Irene whines stepping back. Each of her friends bows and kisses the back of her hand.
"Get my friends something to drink!" Irene orders, I don't move as I am still holding the dress and she didn\'t specify who she is ordering.
"Is my pig dump now?! Move your fat !" She yells at me.
A maid hurries to where I stand and takes the tail of her dress from me. I start walking towards the kitchen.
"She gets fatter and fatter each day! What does she eat, sponges?" I hear Philly mutter as I leave.
I am so used to their dirty remarks, good thing is I am getting out of here soon. I will make dresses and necklaces and sell, I can make a living.
Most girls of my age will be searching for a mate. But am so pathetic that I didn't even get a wolf after turning eighteen two months ago. I don't care about a mate, I know they are likely to reject me.
My sister made sure I am always dressed in a gown the opposite of hers, a buggy servants uniform with a dull brown colour. The thing is now three years old, have holes and strains that don't move. No young or old man likes what I look like in it.
I walk into the Kitchen where mother is supervising maids as they prepare the best foods for the guests.
"What are you doing back here!? Who is holding Irene's dress?" Mother shriek the moment she lays eyes on me.
Apparently, my parents began hating me as well. First it was because hating me seemed to please Irene. But it got worse when I turned eighteen and didn't get a wolf, they are so disappointed in me.
"Irene's friends need drinks, she ordered me to get them." I say, my gaze cast towards the floor.
"Okay, hurry up and get out, you're such a disgusting sight! You should be honoured that Her Majesty even allows you to hold her dress!" She chastises.
I already built a wall all around my heart, their insults no longer hurt me.
I go to the kitchen cabinet and pick out a jug full of orange juice. I pour the liquid into three glasses, drop a straw into each drink then place them on a tray.
I am on my way out when mother speaks again. "Wait!" She calls.
I halt and she makes her way to me. "You do remember that your father and I want you to leave the moment Irene gets fully crowned queen, we can no longer let you stay here when you do not even have a wolf, it will be a disgrace! So think of where you will go." She says not bothering to lower her voice for the sake of my dignity.
"Mother I-" I start but she cuts me short.
"I don't care where you will go, that's your business. Now take those drinks to those sweet girls!" She orders. I turn and leave.
I find the girls seated on a couch while the maids carries on with fixing Irene\'s hair. I take the drinks to them.
"This drink sucks!" Joan exclaims after taking her first sip. "What did you put in it!"
"I didn't put anything in any drink. The juice was in the kitchen cabinet." I defend.
"Really? Then why does it smell like rotting rat?!" She screams. Now I know she is faking it. She can't think of anything more convincing other than rotting rat? That means she wants to cause trouble for me.
The girl stands and pours the contents in her glass on my face. The cold liquid makes me shiver. Some of it splashes to the floor while the rest is absorbed by my uniform.
Everyone in the room bursts in laughter. No matter how mortified I am, I can't hit or insult her, she is Irene's friend.
"Clean up that mess before it makes me puke! After that go get better drinks for me and my friends." Irene commands.
I pick up a rag and start wiping the mess from the floor. More keeps dripping from my wet hair.
One of Irene's maids rushes into the room, "The Prince is here, right around the corner!" She announces breathlessly.
I already know I am going to be kicked out of the room. That's what Irene do every time the Prince shows up.
"Get your fat out of here, pig! And don't come back until you are called!" She roars.
"Yes my lady!" I say trying to finish wiping the mess.
"Leave the rug! Someone else will do the job." She screams more urgently this time.
Philly grabs my long hair and drags me out of the room just as the Prince enters through the other door.
"You already smell like my queen!" I hear him say to Irene when Philly releases my hair.
"Go to your room, stupid sack of meat!" Philly snaps.
I turn and head to my room in the basement. I am relieved to be out of there. I have only seen the Prince once, that was during Irene's eighteenth birthday party. Since then she makes sure I am nothing close to where the man is to appear.
May 21
IRENE'S POV
I was always certain that I am the pack's future Queen, after all my grandmother had foretold that. I was exhilarated when I heard the news, the King's family and the Angel Prince told me I could ask for anything I want as long as I accept to be the future Queen and the Prince's mate.
Was that even a condition? The Angel Prince is the most gorgeous man I have seen. He got a perfect body and most breathtaking face. And who would refuse to be Queen?
I suddenly had everything I wanted. People did what I asked them to. So I asked that my sister be made my servant, I hated her so much!
While I wanted my sister to be fancy and outgoing, Sarah was always chubby and quiet. My friends didn't like her and I wasn't about to have her by my side when she always looked so lost. So I gave her the status I thought she deserved ...my servant.
I was the happiest girl in the world until my eighteenth birthday. After having a great party which the Prince and his family attended, I went to my room late. I was trying to get some sleep when I felt a deep sharp pain and my bones began rearranging. I immediately knew what was happening, I was phasing!
I couldn't believe it as I am supposed to turn into an angel when I get nineteen, according to my grandmother's prophecy.
My good life was suddenly falling apart. I had to remain quiet so no one would hear that I was actually turning into a werewolf. It hurt but I had to bear the pain as if anyone knew, I would lose all I had gained.
After I had fully phased, I heard my wolf speak to me. I snapped at her as I was so pissed. Because of her, I was going to lose everything. I told her to remain silent and never to speak to me or show herself when anyone was around.
I quickly shifted back to my human form and put on new clothes.
Right then, my sister stumbled into the room without even bothering to knock. Both I and my wolf got startled, I let out a growl! I couldn't believe that the first person to find out that I was a werewolf was my pathetic sister. I got so infuriated, smacked her silly face with the food she was carrying.
But I needed to silence her, all I had to do was lie to my future mate and he would do my binding.
My idiotic sister got five days in the Pack's cells which are riddled with rats. That taught her to keep her distance.
If I resented her then, I resent her even worse now. She was supposed to phase three months ago, the day she turned eighteen. But so far, she got no wolf.
I know there are many that phase later than their eighteenth birthday.
But having lived under the same roof with my sister, I can't help suspecting that she is waiting for her nineteenth birthday to turn into an angel. To be mated to my Prince and become the queen. I can't let that happen, that dirty loser can't take my place.
But before taking any measures, I want to confirm that my grandmother is certain that it's me she saw marry the Prince. How would it be me when I already have a wolf?
Grandma will be attending today's party, it took the old woman two days to make it here, hope she hasn't come to disappoint me.
My wolf has been relentlessly whining for the last few days. The idiot thinks we need to go find our real mate, says she can smell him close. If I know who that other loser is, I would have him decapitated! I can't risk running into some awful looking son of a peasant during my wedding party and having him claim to be my mate.
My wolf growls in anger every time I think that. Can't she see all we have here? The ravish bedroom I sleep in? The deluxe dresses I wear?
Because of her aggressive complains, I am having a hard time enjoying the parties. She dislikes the Prince and threatens to show herself and crawl at him whenever he gets too close to us. I have run out of ideas of taming her.
There is a knock on my bedroom door, "Your Grandmother is here, My Lady!" I hear one of my maids, Doreen, call out from the other side of the door.
I immediately jump from my bed, time to find out what exactly went wrong with my once sweet life.
It's nice she showed up early, we will have time to talk undisrupted.
"I take quick steps towards the porch where I know she will be waiting. I haven't seen her for five years. Since the day I was declared the future Queen, I and my family were moved to this magnificent house so I can wait until I get my wings and move to the palace.
"You have grown so beautiful, My Lady! You look like the lovely girl I saw marrying the Prince." She sings when I get close to her. She stands and bows her head.
I have no time for her little praises, I want to get straight to the point.
"Yeah! Thanks! What I want is for you to tell me exactly what you saw, no opinions, tell me in detail what you saw!" I order in a stern voice.
The woman seems astonished as she sits back down. "What has angered my beautiful princess? Is it your little sister giving you trouble, my little angel?" She asks in a sweet but straining voice.
"I can handle my sister. Now tell me what I want to know!" I order.
She raises eyebrows but speaks anyway. "There isn't much to tell about what I saw." She starts. "It was a very short, but I am sure it was you."
"I said you give me all the details!" I snap as I am getting inpatient.
"Yes my lady! It was a lovely wedding party, your parents were there as well as the royal family. You and the Prince seemed happy. You had beautiful wings?" She says. I feel a bit relieved. But why then do I have a wolf if I am going to turn into an angel?
"Are you sure it was me? Did you see my face?"
"I am sure it was you, but I didn't see your face clearly. The Prince was too happy and was spinning you round and round in his hands. Your face moved so fast that it became blurry." She answers. My heart starts thumping hard in my chest, this is beginning to turn bad.
"If you didn't see my face, how do you know it was me?" I question.
"It was your parents there, on the stage next to the royal family. The girl looked beautiful in her white dress, your sister never looked beautiful as far as I am concerned. She was a dull thing the last time I saw her." The woman says. I feel anger rise within me, tears starts to flow.
I was planning to wear a pink, colourful dress for my wedding party, not white. And she didn't see my face? It could be anyone! And the fact that my parents were there means it could have been my sister.
"The girl you saw could have been anyone! I want prove it was me!" I scream.
"Who else could it be, dear?"
"My pathetic sister! She never phased after getting eighteen but I did! And she is the one that likes white stuff!" I roar, I am barely controlling my mouth.
"Oh! ...You phased?! You have a wolf!?" The woman asks, terror written all over her face.
"Yes, and my sister hasn't. I would rather die than watch her be Queen!" I rant.
The old woman in front of me seems like she is in shock. "The Prince will kill us! I have to tell him right away that I made a mistake." She says and my fists clenches.
"Dare you say a word! I am the future Queen, no one is taking that away from me!" I roar. The woman freezes.
"But the Angel Prince can't marry a wolf, you will not give him children! And once he knows the truth, he will punish us for lying to him." She points, as if I am too dump to know that.
"He won't know the truth. He will never know she was his mate, not if I get rid of her. I will be the only option, he will take me as his wife, he loves me enough." I argue.
"You would kill your sister?! That's evil!"
"She is going to take away everything I value, what option do I have? I will not kill her, not directly of course, that would make people suspicious. What I need from you is silence. You say anything and I will have your old head cut off! I am the one the Prince trusts, he will never believe you unless he hears the truth from me." I speak with the most threatening voice I can manage.
The woman has shrank into her seat, she nods in agreement.
May 21, Sarah
SARAH'S POV
I am cleaning the mess left behind after last night's party. Irene had ordered that I stay in my room, I wasn't allowed to attend the party.
I stayed in my room listening to the distant music. Then I heard the Prince speak, his voice was mesmerizing. His words were kind and wise, he sounded like the angel he is. I wished I were there to see him.
"Sarah, your father wants to see you. He and your grandmother are waiting in the living room, the one with the fireplace." Kylie, one of Irene's maids and the only one that calls me by my real name, informs in a polite voice.
Dad rarely calls me. In fact he never calls me. And now it's him and grandma?! I am not a fan of that woman, neither is she mine. She thought I am a disappointment and she wasn't afraid to publicly express her thoughts.
I leave the buckets of water and rugs and head to the referred room. I knock first and wait until the man yells at me to go in.
I walk in, my head bowed in respect to the Pack's Prophetess. Father is as usual glaring at me. Grandma stares at me with a stunned expression. I see tears gather in her eyes. Is she pitying me? I doubt that.
"Your Grandmother wants to speak with you." He says to me before turning to the woman sitting across from him. "She is always this dirty, like a pig!"
"It's okay, as a servant I understand she has a lot of work to do." Grandma replies, I have never heard her defend me before. "Come closer, honey! You don't need to bow to me, I am your grandma, right?"
Honey?! She never calls me such names.
I step closer to her and she takes my hand in her palms.
"You have been working hard!" She comments studying my not-so-soft palm and broken nails. "Don't you worry, it will get better! But you have to be strong, stronger than you have ever been. I know you're good, Sarah-"
"Yeah, she is good for nothing! And what is this you're telling her? Her Majesty is the strong one, the useful one, this is just a fat pig that does nothing except ashame our family name!" Father fumes.
"Will you let me speak to my granddaughter? She too deserves some love!" Grandma argues.
The man snorts. "Love my foot! You're spoiling a useless pig, let her go back to work!" He orders. "Don't say another word!"
Grandma releases my hand, she looks at me with sorrowful eyes. Why is she suddenly pitying me? I turn and leave the room.
I don't let myself think about that conversion, I know things will never change until I get out of here.
I go back to the hall I was cleaning to find Irene and her friends waiting.
"What can I do for you, My lady?" I ask bowing my head. Irene glares at me with so much hatred that I feel like I would get sick.
"When are you planning on phasing?! My friends and I are quite tired of watching you loiter around pretending to work while all you do is drool at men!" She berates.
I don't remember a time I have ever thought of checking out a man, where are these accusations coming from? Future Angel or not, this girl is evil!
"With all due respect, I have not drooled at any man, I am always in my room when you have parties, remember?" I say boldly.
"Are you accusing me of lying, Pig?!" She raves.
"No. I am just saying you got the wrong information, My lady."
"Our pig is bold! See, I told you she hides a lot." She says to her friends who nod and glowers at me. What version of perfection is this? They can't even speak the truth!
"Well, I want you to go out tonight and get me beautiful wild flowers to give my lovely Prince. I want it to be a surprise, so you have to leave after sunset because no one should see you going out or coming in. Philly will go with you just to make sure you don't mess things up." Irene says.
Out at night?! And to that big Pack forest?! no! I don't even know where wild flowers are found in that jungle.
"My Lady, sending me to the forest is a bad idea. I haven't been there in years. Remember when we used to go swim near the waterfall? That's the last time I was there. I don't think I can find your flowers at night." I try to reason with her.
"That's a very lame reason. Irene already said I will go with you!" Philly yells.
"Okay." I say. I don't trust Philly to escort me to the forest and back. And even if she does, that journey will be unbearable.
But I got zero options right now, I am my sister's servant until she is officially nineteen. Unless I run from this pack and become a wolfless rogue, I am bound to serving her every wish as long as I stay within the pack.
"Now clean this place! My Prince ought to sit in the cleanest of places. After that you should get me a pretty, white dress from the designer shop and decorate it. I already ordered the dress so just pick it." Irene commands, I nod.
"Say yes it!" Joan screams.
"Yes, My Lady!" I say grudgingly.
"Hope you mean that." Irene says leaving the hall. I resume my cleaning. If I survive through today's journey to the forest and throughout the two weeks, I will make sure never to come close to this house ever again. Or to the palace where Irene will be moving after her nineteenth birthday.

IRENE'S POV
My heart nearly stopped when that stupid, old woman told me exactly what she had foreseen. I knew it was my fat sister she was describing as stunning. I wanted to punch her old head.
One thing you should know about me, is I am unbreakable. I get over heartbreaks fast, I deal with obstacles head on.
I felt helpless for hours after talking with that Granny, but now I got a plan, I need my two loyal friends to execute it. They are the only ones that knows I am a werewolf and isn't going to become an angel. I have always given them all that they needed and promised them even more if they help me get rid of my pig sister.
My plan is to get someone else kill her, a pack soldier may be. Whoever gets to her first, I don't care as long as they end her.
But most of all, I want the Prince to be the one that slits her throat, so he will never blame me for anything.
The idiot promised to end anyone that hurts his future Queen. No one dares even speak to me rudely, they know how much the Prince treasures me.
I made a good plan, but it involves a lot of work and things I ain't enjoying. My friends helped me scrab patches on my skin to a point that I now look like I have been attacked.
Then I am to scream as high as I can. The palace is only metres away from this house. The house was built so close because of my safety, the Prince cares that much. He will hear me if I scream.
Philly leaves to get my sister and escort her to the forest. So far, the plan is going well.
Mad Night
The moment I have been dreading is finally here. After all the work of cleaning, cooking and decorating, I feel like I will be collapsing any moment. But before that, I have to get Irene her flowers. The orders were that Philly is to take me, I have to wait for her.
I am trying to get a short nap in my dark room when Philly knocks hard on my door. \"Knockie! Knockie! Pigie! My God, you actually snore like one!\" She remarks from the other side of the door.
I rise from my old mattress laid on the floor and reach out for my jacket which also acts as my pillow when folded. I start to pull it on.
\"Hurry up and open this door! I got no time to waste waiting for pathetic, fatty things like you!\" Philly hisses banging the door.
I crack it open only to meet with a slap to the side of the face. I yelp. \" never waste my time again!\" She roars. \"Now follow me!\"
My left ear is ringing where she slapped me, my head feels hazy. If I don\'t go with her, things will only get worse, so I stumble after her, keeping my distance. It is almost dark and guests are already arriving for the night party.
Philly leads me through the back gates which are not guarded. I spot Irene peeking out at us through her second floor window which has a view of the house\'s backyard. There is a smirk on her face.
Philly walks fast, having a wolf gives her strength. I am wolfless so I start panting even before we get to the forest.
\"Hurry up, fatty! You waste my time again and I will break your neck!\" She threatens, walking even faster. I have to run to keep up. I slip and fall countless times as she leads us deep into the forest. Her wolf eyes can see in darkness, mine, not so well.

ISAIC\'S POV
I don\'t know why I can\'t smell my mate\'s scent. I know even through she is yet to get nineteen, I am supposed to sense her smell or our bond. So far I don\'t feel my connection to her.
I caught a hint of her unique scent yesterday when I entered the room she was dressing. But the smell suddenly vanished yet she was right in front of me.
I don\'t doubt her grandmother\'s prophecy, there isn\'t a thing that woman has ever said that turned out wrong. So maybe everything will be right after she phases, she is already beautiful as a human, I can only imagine what she will look like as an angel.
Sometimes, It feels like she is uncomfortable in my arms. I hug her and she cringes. Doesn\'t she like me? She is yet to phase so I understand she can\'t feel our mate bond, so I will let her be for now.
In a week and six days, today being one of them, my Queen will be ready to join me in this palace. I already have her room extravagantly furnished and filled with decorations. She is the only female in this pack that can be my Queen, that can be mother to my children. Everything must be done right for her.
I am choosing the best outfit for today\'s party when a loud scream hits my ears! I don\'t always get unnerved by a sound of a scream, but I know that voice. It is the voice of my most treasured creature, Irene!
Something hurt her! Or someone! If it\'s the latter, the person better vanish in thin air before I get to them.
I tear my shirt apart, giving room for my wings to emerge. They spread out, ready to take flight.
Instead of finding my way out of the palace through doors and corridors, I smack my way right through my bedroom window. There is no time to waste when my only mate is in danger.
My wings carry me to the front of her house, the one I built for her and her family to live in before she turns nineteen. I let my wings disappear so I can easily maneuver through the corridors of the house. I don\'t want to scare her by smashing everything on my way.
A lot of people and guards are running up the stairs leading to her room. They all step aside for me to pass then they follow behind.
I burge into her room to find her laying on the floor, she has several bruises on her face and hands. One of her two friends, Joan, is peeking out through a large hole made on the bedroom window. She too has bruises on her face and one on her wrist.
I rush to pick my mate from the floor but she holds out a hand. \"Go after her! I will be fine, go find that animal!\" She screams, terror evident on her face.
\"Who? Tell me who did this!\" I demand.
\"Her sister did it! She shifted, went wild and attacked Irene. I tried to protect Her Majesty, but that girl\'s wolf is a monster! She broke out through the window and ran when Philly turned to fight her.\" Joan supplies.
\"Where is Philly now?\" I ask.
\"She chased after her, you must go save my friend, please! I don\'t care what you will do, just stop that evil girl.\" My mate pleads, tears run down her smooth cheeks.
I have never felt so overwhelmed with fury, whoever that girl is, she better vanish before I get to her.
\"I will find her, and I will end her! She will know she made a awful mistake.\" I say.
My mate grasps my hand and kisses the back of it. \"I am so glad I have you, I don\'t know how I could survive without you.\" She says.
Irene has always told me about how her evil sister envies her. I should have done something before this happened.
\"Keep her safe!\" I order the two pack guards that wait at the door.
I hug my mate, holding her close to my chest. As usual, she cringes, so I let go.
I leave the house, a crowd of people has gathered around the house. I can sense their anger, their displeasure in having their future Queen attacked. This time, I don\'t feel mercy, only anger.
This crowd is begging my consent to go after the evil wolf, I will let them have their way, because I too will have my way. No one lives after hurting my mate.
Ugly Scars
Depending on Philly to guide me in and out of the forest was a bad idea. She brought me here to pick the flowers that have grown along the banks of the river.
When I thought I had picked enough, I called to her but the girl was no where to be found.
I start to panic, I can\'t find my way back alone in this darkness. \"Philly! Philly! please don\'t leave me in this darkness! Philly!\" I call desperately hoping she is still around. No one answers.
She left me! I can barely see a single path out of this place, but I have to leave, whatever way that leads out of this place, I will use it.
I move towards the only clearing my eyes can spot. Maybe from there, I can find a clear path.
I enter the clearing but I still can\'t see a path out of it that can lead outside the forest.
\"Philly! Philly! I got the flowers, let\'s go home!\" I call one last time. I see twigs move and a tall figure steps into the clearing. Thank God!
I run to her but suddenly halt in my tracks when I see who it really is that came to my rescue. The most stunning, most powerful creature of our pack, the Angel Prince himself. His massive wings makes him look both caring and lethal.
A happy smile curves on my lips as I bow in respect. \"Your Majesty! I am so glad to see you, I think I am lost. This place is scary!\" I say.
I look up at his face and realise he is glaring down at me. What wrong have I done already?
\"Were you scared when you attacked my mate?!\" His deep voice roar. What is he talking about?
\"Attacked? What mate?!\" The man\'s glower intensifies. I am starting to feel terrified. \"Sorry...I don\'t know about that. I came to fetch flowe-\"
His strong hand wraps around my neck, cutting off the flow of air. I am raised up in the air as his fingers squeeze my neck, my limps flail.
\"You pathetic, evil thing! You\'re jealous of your own sister because she is better than you?! You had to try killing her for that?\"
I feel like my neck is about to snap. The pain is barely allowing me to hear a word he says.
From the corner of my eye, I spot Philly rushing to us, she has a wooden rod in her hands. There is suddenly more and more people approaching, armed! They yell out things my mind can\'t register due to pain.
I try to mouth to Philly to help me. I smirk curves on her lips as she rushes forward. With the wooden rod, she smacks me on the back. A sharp, excruciating pain shoot from the area the blow landed. I try to scream but the Princes hand still squeezes my throat.
More and more blows land on my body, kicks, punches, and even whips. The pain is too much and my body starts to grow numb.
I feel the Prince realise his hold on my neck and I fall with a bang. More blows land, I scream, no one cares. One blow on the head with Philly\'s wooden rod knocks me out.

ISAIC\'S POV
People have always claimed I am too merciful for someone with too much power. I don\'t like seeing people getting hurt, especially when they seem helpless.
But today, I don\'t feel any pity towards the girl being beaten to death in front of me. She attacked the most important person in my life. If she had succeeded in killing Irene, which I know was her goal, I would never have a wife or child.
What is unnerving though is the girl\'s smell. She has my mates unique, very pleasant scent. Maybe that\'s because they were too close when she attacked her.
I wonder if Irene would like her little sister dead even though she attacked her and her friends. She didn\'t seem hesitant when she told me to stop the evil girl.
But people overreact under emotion and later regret it. It is best I take the girl back to the pack cells, if Irene agrees to have her sister killed for the sake of others safety, then I will order a public execution.
\"Stop!\" I say but some angry pack members keeps on hitting the unconscious bod
