I mostly said it to convince myself that was the reason. "Yeah ok." He takes in a breath, then he continues. "I, Andrew Collin Walters, reject Elle Cora Cooper has my mate." He said with no emotion shown on his face. I let out a small whimper when I felt both my wolf and I break emotionally from those words. I didn't want to look weaker than I already am in front of him so gathered all my courage and accepted my faith, which was to be alone and unloved. He looked surprised that I accepted it so quickly but covered it up with a blank expression. He took one longer look on my face looking for something maybe, when he didn't find it he just gave me one small nod before walking off. I was really good at keeping a blank face so he couldn't see how I really felt which I was thankful for. I realized I was just standing in front of the janitors closet staring in to space. I quickly made my way up to the roof to bawl my eyes out, knowing that I am about to break down at that very moment. Who was the girl in the closet with him and what happened to her? I quickly made my way home with my wolf speed. I run into my room grabbing a duffle bag and throw as much clothes I could carry and all the information about my parents kidnapping I gathered in there. After about 10 minutes later, I am finished. I already wrote a quick letter telling my sister about being rejected and how it hurts too much to stay here. Also about, how much I love and promise to contact her when I can. I leave the letter on the kitchen counter, where I knew she would see it. I walk outside and stopping to look at my childhood home, saying goodbye to be a rogue. On my journey to the pack boarders my eyes started to get blurry with tears. I can't believe I'm actually doing this. Goodbye. I have been walking for hours and my feet are killing me! It's dark and I can barely see anything. I would always be stubbing my foot on a stone or a tree root. I am so tired of this. It's almost midnight and I need to find somewhere to sleep. A few more minutes of walking I come across a cave. It's small but it can work for me for the night. I begin to get settled in, ready to get some sleep so I could make my way out of the forest and then do some apartment hunting tomorrow. Knowing that it's now midnight, I slowly drifted off into darkness only to be woken up by the most excruciating pain in my back. It then started to run through my entire body. I scream out the most horrific scream I could muster attempting to stop the pain, but I was wrong it just got worse. I crawl out of the cave breathing heavily while looking up at the moon. It's a full moon. I was told that the first full moon that arrives after a woman meets their mate they are suppose to shift and their mates are to be by their sides to help with the pain. Now I have to go through this by myself. "AAHHH!" Every bone in my body started to rearrange in ways that are not normal to humans. I started to grow claws and blueish white fur all over my body. "AAAAHHH" that hurts. More bones broke, more fur grew and at this point my clothes have been torn off and I was in my full wolf form and Eva was now in full control. She started running off into the distance for what felt like hours until I drifted off into the darkness once again..... ~~~~~~ I wake up to a clanking sound which is giving me a headache. I groan when my head started pounding even more from hearing it. I then began to hear footsteps coming my way and that got me on high alert. I sit up looking around confused and in a panic state. It looked like I was in a cell. It's a small cell and darkly lit and it barely have anything in it. I hear the footsteps stop right in front of the cell bars. The figure is tall and has muscular figure with broad shoulders and he looks like he could knock me out with one punch, so that got me scared even more. I can't see his face because it's too dark . He smelt like blood and death? "Vampire" I whispered in shock. ANDREWS POV It's been a week since Elle has gone missing and I haven't found or heard anything that could lead to her. If I haven't been so stupid and caught up in my ego this wouldn't have happened. I would probably even have her cuddling with me in bed right now. I chuckled at that thought. "Son, I am sorry but they haven't found anything in the east either" my dad said interrupting me from my thoughts. "Then where could she have been? We searched the north, west and east" "What if she went south?" my father asked. "No dad the vampires are located there, everyone knows to never go down there" I said not giving it a second thought. Every pack meeting everyone was warned not to go south so she can't be there. "You sure son? Maybe you should check.." he suggested but was cut off by me. "I said no, I told you every one was warned never to go there. I am not going there!" I shouted. "You watch your mouth boy, don't you ever talk to me like that again. I don't care if you are the future alpha I am still your father, you hear me?!" he shouted at me with authority. "Yes sir" I said through clenched teeth. "Now, it doesn't matter if you warned everyone are not, she is a young girl who just got rejected by her mate, she might not even know where she was going" he said more calmly.
