Chapter 1 Crawling into Sir Mccoy’s Bed

George smelled of a|cohol and tobacco smoke. When he hugged Jane in the dark, she shuddered involuntarily.

“Scared?” His hoarse voice contained a desire, which was induced by the drvg.

How can she not be afraid?

She was only eighteen years old and knew nothing about love. But, the person behind her was George.

She could give him her life!

“No.” Jane shook her head bravely.

George smiled softly, brushed her earlobe with his hot lips, and whispered, “Good girl.”

Later, his tall and slender body was completely covering her...

...It hurt!

The pain turned Jane’s face into a pale profile.

Feeling her pain, George kissed her forehead dearly and gasped depressively, “Good girl. I will take responsibility.”

George had never broken a promise he made her. If he said that he would take responsibility, then he would definitely stick to his words!

Jane was happy.

That was her best birthday gift.

She hugged him tightly. Her body was in pain because of his desire, but she felt comforted.

She loved George.

From a long time ago...

The indulgent George fell asleep under the effects of the drvg and alcohol.

Jane could not sleep. She was afraid that all that was just a beautiful dream that would fade away once she woke up.

Then, her phone started ringing. It was a call from the hospital!

Jane got up from the bed to answer the phone.

“Hello...”

The nurse said anxiously, “Ms. Parsons, come to the hospital! Your mother committed suicide again. We are trying to save her now...”

Jane was shocked.

She was anxious. She quickly put on her clothes, resisting the pain in her ge'nital area, and rushed out.

In the corner of the hotel lobby, Nancy Blaine watched her pass by hurriedly. She grabbed her bag, took the elevator, and opened the door of the presidential suite with her spare key.

In the bedroom, the atmosphere was still filled with a strong sense of ambiguous intimacy.

Nancy walked to the big bed while undressing. When she got to it, she slipped in and got into the warm embrace of George with a satisfied and sly smile.

She had waited for this day for so long!

She had always liked George and he knew it. But, he never gave her a chance.

She had to create the opportunity for herself!

Nancy understood how much a man cared about a woman’s vir'ginity, but she was no longer a vir'gin.

Even though George was drvgged, he was still vigilant. He would not be fooled by a stranger. So, Nancy deceived Jane into being George’s antidote.

Afterward, Nancy would make Jane disappear. She then would come in and make it look like she and George slept together that night.

Nancy knew George well. Even if he did not love her, he would definitely take responsibility for that night!

As for the powerless Jane, she is nothing.

Nancy could easily destroy her...

In the empty corridor outside the hospital operating room, Jane had been keeping watch all night. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she looked haggard as if she would collapse at any time.

The nurses who passed her by pitied her and tried to persuade her, “Little girl, go eat something and rest for a while.”

Jane stubbornly shook her head and said nothing. She wanted her mother to come out safe.

The door of the operating room was opened at last.

Nervous, Jane stepped forward. Fortunately, the doctor gave her good news, and her mother, Lucy Byrd, was safe!

Jane felt relieved. She took her mother to the ward, freshened up, and went to the cafe to buy a sandwich. But when she took out her wallet to pay, she found out that her phone was missing!

She must have dropped it somewhere when she was rushing over to the hospital in a hurry.

Without even bothering about her phone, Jane returned to the ward with the sandwich. Lucy was already awake, and when she saw her daughter’s haggard face, she felt bitter.

As a mother, she failed to take good care of her daughter and provide a carefree life for her, not to mention being a burden to her daughter.

“Jane, mommy is causing you trouble again. I’m really u'seless! Why wasn’t it me who died four years ago?!!” Lucy became emotional and slapped herself, “My poor Jay. I should’ve died then. It should’ve been me!!”

“Mom, don’t say that... please don’t say that!” Jane felt very distressed. She hugged her mother tightly, holding back the tears. She said, comforting, “It’s all over, Mom. My brother will not blame you. Our life will become better. Everything will be fine, I promise!”

Eight years ago, when she was ten years old, her father had an affair with a young and beautiful secretary. He did not hesitate to abandon his wife and children. He kicked Jane out of the house along with her mother and her mentally impaired and sick brother.

Four years ago, Jay suddenly got critically ill and required a huge amount of medical expenses. Therefore, Jane ran back to the Parsons Family and asked her father for money. Meanwhile, Lucy and Jay ran into a car accident on the way to the hospital. Jay died on the spot. And although Lucy was rescued, she had been suffering from severe de'pression ever since...

Jane was fourteen years old at the time. She was overwhelmed by sadness and despair. She curled up in a dark corner, soaked, and in a state of melancholy.

She was like a stray dog.

And then, and in such a desperate situation, she met George.

He was like an angel. He was gentle and compassionate. He stretched out his hand to her and asked, “Will u come home with me?”

She did not hesitate. She stretched out her small hand and tightly grabbed his.

George was slightly startled. He then chuckled, patted her head, and said, “Good girl. Don’t regret your decision of coming with me.”

“I will not!”

The fourteen-year-old Jane was brought back home by the twenty-one-year-old George.

Since then, her life had changed because of him.

Everyone called this young and handsome man “Sir Mccoy” out of fear and respect.

She began to fear him, so she followed the rest and called him ‘‘Sir Mccoy.’’

But George was remarkably kind to her. He pampered and cherished her. Slowly, she became spoiled, and she often called him George.

Her diary was full of his name, every story very sweet.

On the night of her last birthday, Jane drank two glasses of drink and got bold. When George asked her what gift she wanted, she stared directly at him. Her face was flushed as she said loudly, “I want you to like me. Let’s get into a relationship!”

That was the first time she confessed her love, but George only thought that she was drunk and talking nonsense.

He leaned on the sofa, shook the drink glass in his hand, and smiled casually at her as if he was looking at a child. He said, “Little girl, I have no interest in m'inors.”

She was finally eighteen.

She became an adult. On her birthday night, she did not confess her love; instead, she crawled into George’s bed...

Jane got flushed with embarrassment when she thought of what had happened the night before, but she was overjoyed.

He said he would take responsibility... then he definitely would!

But at the moment, she could not see George.

The doctor said that Lucy was still emotionally unstable and her family members should keep her company. Jane was also afraid that her mother would do something stubid again, so she had to look after her.

When Lucy fell asleep, Jane secretly used her phone to send George a message.

[Sir Mccoy, I’m at the hospital with my mother, so I won’t come to your place this weekend. You must remember to have your meals on time.]

Jane waited all day, but George did not reply. She became worried.

“What’s wrong, Jane?” Having raised Jane, Lucy could easily tell when there was something wrong with her.

Jane laughed, “It’s nothing. I’m just a little tired. Do you want to watch TV? I’ll turn it on for you.”

Afraid of her mother’s questioning, Jane quickly turned on the TV to divert Lucy’s attention.

Unexpectedly, George appeared on the TV screen.

He was wearing a dark formal suit, looking very charismatic. He placed the same pair of hands that he used to caress her body on the slender waist of another woman.

The news headline was huge and eye-catching: #Sir George Mccoy’s rare appearance: Attends event with his girlfriend, Nancy Blaine, and announces their wedding to the public!!#

“Smack…” A strange noise was heard.

Chapter 2 Someone Wants U Dead

The remote control that was in Jane’s hand was smashed to pieces.

“Jane?”

Jane’s face turned pale. She did not even hear Lucy’s worried voice behind her. Her eyes were fixed on the screen.

Once Sir Mccoy’s name was announced, everyone would know.

His marriage was naturally a piece of hot news.

Still, no reporters dared to put the microphone in front of George. They all surrounded Nancy.

“Ms. Blaine, why did you suddenly reveal that you’re getting married to Sir Mccoy next month? Are u pregnant? Is it a shotgun marriage?”

Nancy was wearing a white dress; she looked like a bride. She smiled shyly as she nestled in George’s arms, then she coyly said, “There’s nothing special.”

Such an ambiguous attitude left much room for imagination.

All the reporters were excited.

George had never liked crowds, and his cold eyes showed his impatience. His assistant and bodyguards quickly stepped forward to disperse the reporters who were still excitedly asking about the details.

Behind that human wall of bodyguards, George left protecting Nancy.

In front of the screen, Jane clenched her fists tightly, digging her nails into her palms. Nothing could compare to the pain she was feeling.

“Good girl, I will take responsibility.”

Liar!

How did she believe what he said in bed?

Even if he was George, there was no exception!

She devoted herself to him and excitedly, yet fearfully, gave up her vir'ginity. But to George, it was just an ordinary one-night stand.

He had been supporting her for four years. He pampered her and paid for her tuition fees and her mother’s medical expenses...

She had only slept with George for one night. It seemed that he had suffered a loss...

Jane was devastated. She then started laughing sarcastically.

“Jane, what’s wrong with you?” Lucy got worried and frightened when she saw her daughter in tears.

Jane was strong. She had never shed tears in front of her. So why was she crying so badly?

Could it have... something to do with the man on TV?

“Is it because of that guy called George?” Lucy grabbed her daughter and looked as though she was ready to risk everything for her. She asked anxiously, “Did that man bully you?”

Jane did not tell anyone about her relationship with George because she was afraid that would cause him trouble.

Even Lucy did not know that she had been with George all these years. Lucy only thought that there was an anonymous kind-hearted person who was secretly supporting them financially.

“How is that possible?” Jane wiped her tears and comforted her mother. “How can I know such a big shot? I’m exhausted and stressed out from studying, so I suddenly became emotional. It’s okay.”

“...Really?” Lucy was skeptical.

“Of course, it’s very stressful for your daughter to maintain her grades!” Jane suppressed her sadness and made a funny face to cheer her mother up.

Lucy patted her daughter’s head, feeling distressed yet gratified.

To have such a smart and sensible daughter! God had treated her well...

Jane stayed in the hospital for two days, during which she could not help sending George a text message. But, he still did not reply.

She thought that George was probably busy keeping his fiancée company, which was why he did not have the time to even reply to her message.

But he had never treated her so coldly before...

Jane became sad. She deleted the text message and told herself not to think about him anymore.

It was Sunday afternoon. After making sure that Lucy’s condition was stable, Jane washed her face and left the hospital. A taxi was parked outside.

She got into it and gave the driver the address of the Mccoys villa.

As she had to go to school tomorrow, she needed to go to George’s place to get her bag.

She had been to George’s place countless times during these four years. Every time, she was happy and looking forward to seeing George. But this time, she did not want to see him...

“Miss, there is a slight jam ahead. I’ll take a detour,” the driver said.

Jane leaned against the glass window and said absent-mindedly, “Okay, thank you.”

But after a while, she realized that something was wrong.

“Why is the taxi getting further and further?”

Jane suddenly became alert.

“Sir, please turn around! I just realized that I forgot to take something.”

The driver ignored her and sped up.

It was obvious that the driver was not a good guy. Did she get in an i||egal taxi?

“Where are you taking me? Stop the car!”

Cold sweat broke out in Jane’s palms. She forced herself to calm down. As she did not have her phone, she could not call the police. Only she could save herself!

The driver was no longer as gentle as before. He stared at her from the rearview mirror and said with a sinister smile, “What’s the rush? We haven’t arrived yet!”

Jane tried her best to contain her anxiety and said. “What on earth are you trying to do? I didn’t offend you. Why do you want to hurt me?”

The driver said balefully, “Little girl, blame yourself for messing with someone you shouldn’t have. The person can’t tolerate you!”

It seemed that someone wanted her dead!!

Jane’s face was pale, and her hand, which was holding onto the door handle, was slightly trembling. Who hated her so much that they wanted her dead?

Jane had no clue.

The car drove further and further. There was no doubt that she would die if she stayed in the car. The “driver” looked big and strong. She was no match for him at all.

With the last glimmer of hope, she gritted her teeth and uttered George’s name.

“Do you know Sir Mccoy? I’m his woman! If you dare touch me, he definitely won’t let you off!”

But to her surprise, the driver laughed and said sarcastically, “Are you trying to scare me? Sir Mccoy is out of your league!”

He obviously did not believe her.

How could a poor student have anything to do with George Mccoy?!

Seeing that the car was getting even further, Jane knew that it was useless to say any more.

Jumping off the car was her only choice to save herself!

She made up her mind, released the safety latch, pushed open the door, and jumped out into the cold wind!

The car was moving too fast, so the inertia made her knees scrape against the rocks. She instantly felt a burning pain that made her burst into tears.

She gritted her teeth in an attempt to overcome the sharp pain. Then she got up, limped forward, and started shouting hysterically, “Help... help!!”

The driver did not expect her to jump out of the car. He stepped on the brakes and raced out of the car to chase her.

“Beach, how dare you run away!” The footsteps got closer and closer.

Jane could not even look back. She rushed towards the main road where there were street lights and cars were passing by. She would definitely be saved!

But she hurt her leg. How could she outrun a burly man?

Jane felt a sharp pain in her scalp. The man eventually caught up to her and grabbed her.

“Beach, who told you to run!”

He slapped her hard twice, knocking her down to the ground. She felt dizzy and her mouth was bleeding. Then he rushed over, holding a dagger in his hand that was shining in the moonlight.

“Go to hll!”

Jane suddenly remembered that George had taught her self-defense techniques, so she kicked his groin hard.

The man screamed.

Jane seized the opportunity and ran towards the road.

“Help! Help!!”

A red sports car was approaching, so Jane rushed out and stood in front of it to stop it.

With an ear-piercing sound, the car stopped in front of Jane.

“Dam it, if you want to die...” A teenager with short, spiky hair poked his head out of the car window and was about to curse. But when he got a clear view of the person in front of the car, the expression on his face abruptly changed...
